Thank You Note from Mike
I received this note after Mike & Tom's visit in October 2005.
(Not your TYPICAL "everything is swell" thank you.....!!)



Dear Eric,

Tom and I would like to thank you and Shelby for your wonderful hospitality. We hope you will enjoy the enclosed gift.

Also enclosed are bars of soap for our next visits. The Irish Spring is for Tom, naturally, and the Dove is mine. Please understand that we cannot tolerate the mini sized hotel soap. Wash under one arm and half the bar is gone. Keep that for your other guests.

As a reminder, we require the temperature to be 72 degrees.

One other thing Tom and I would like is our own Mr. Coffee. Preferably one that has a timer on it so that the smell of fresh coffee will awaken us.

We found no problems with the transportation provided, although next time it might be judicious to avoid newer and unfamiliar routes as they caused Tom considerable anxiety. World dislikes the unfamiliar and needs to know where he is at all times.

Also, we both were very pleased with the toast with jam and butter brought to our "rooms" on a breakfast tray. It did occur to us that in addition to the Mr. Coffee some thought might be given to providing a toaster which could eliminate the guess work on exactly when to bring the breakfast tray to our rooms. Also, English muffins and or bagels should be given serious consideration as alternate choices.

Tom's wife pointed out that "while you're at it, why don't you two morons insist Eric place mints on your pillows." The moron reference aside, that is a thought.
