FISHER RADIO SEATTLE: Privacy Policy

• BROWSING of our sites is anonymous. Personal information is collected only through forms which you fill out to register for our station membership, or to participate in contests, surveys, or other promotions. If you choose not to save the page, no information is collected about your visit to our site or from that particular form.
  
  
• COOKIES: Session cookies are used to indicate that you have logged in (so you do not have to log in on every member-protected page). This cookie only tells our software that you have already successfully logged in. A permanent cookies is created if you choose to save your login information on the computer, which stores only enough information to complete the login form.
  
  
• DATA USE: The primary use of data that we collect is to notify you in the event you are a contest winner. The information is never shared with any other entity without your explicit permission. In the event we are sharing information during a specific promotion with the advertiser involved, you are notified on the form which you are completing of the rules of that promotion. In that case, ONLY the information provided on that specific form might be shared; data which you may have previously provided to our stations is never disclosed. We may also SUMMARIZE demographic or participation data for promotional or research purposes; but such summaries include only the counts (or percentages) of people who may participate in an event or live in a certain zip code, city, or other geographic area.
  
  
• EMAIL: When your permission is given (through the forms), you are included on our distribution for emails generated by the station. You may revoke your permission to participate in these distributions at any time (instructions are usually included in each email). In that case, you might still receive email from us in the event we are trying to contact you to notify you of contest participation, offer a receipt for a purchase, or to conduct other business which involves your specific attention.
  
  
• CLIENT/OTHER SITE VISITS: We may track participation in certain web visits (such as advertiser promotions offered in our newsletters, client site visits from our site, and so forth). This information is used by us to determine the success and effectiveness of a promotion, and unless we specifically indicate otherwise, such traffic information is never shared with any other party (except on a summary count or percentage basis).
  
  
• COPPA/CHILDREN: People under the age of 13 are not allowed to register or participate in our online promotions. If we learn of fraudulent registration (by misrepresenting your age) we reserve the right to destroy that account and delete the personal information, as well as revoke prizes which may have been awarded as a result of this misrepresentation.
  
  
• OTHER SITES/THIRD PARTIES: We often promote other sites, partners, and advertisers from our web site. Each of these separate destinations likely has their own privacy policy and you should be extremely cautious before offering your information to anyone else. The inclusion of any other link or address does not constitute an endorsement by our radio stations, nor does it indicate that we have reviewed or approve of the privacy policies in force on any other site.
  
  
• Our policies represent our respect for your privacy and the information you are sharing with us. Nevertheless, we may be required to make exceptions to our policies to accommodate a specific legal need, such as disclosure of information based on requirements from law enforcement; or to remain in compliance with state, federal and local laws.
